COVID SAFETY POLICY FOR INSTRUCTORS AND STUDENTS

Assumption of Risk

COVID is contagious and is believed to spread by person-to-person contact; and, as a result, federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and various other measures to mitigate the risk of contracting the virus.

Despite the health and safety protocols outlined above and other measures in place to mitigate the risk of transmission of COVID, there are inherent risks that students and/or their families may become infected with COVID, due to the student’s participation in Creative Enrichment, LLC.

These risks include, but are not limited to, the following: exposure to COVID, becoming infected with COVID, or becoming a symptomatic or asymptomatic carrier of the virus. It is possible that a student is already an asymptomatic carrier of the virus before and that the student may infect other students, employees, or other individuals at the School as a result of their attendance. Any person who receives a positive diagnosis of COVID, including a student or their family member, may encounter extended quarantine/self-isolation, additional tests, medical care, hospitalization, and other potential complications.

By signing the Registration Agreement, parent(s) agree to adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Protocols and Community Agreement. By allowing their child(ren) to attend Creative Enrichment, LLC. programs, parents understand, acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks on behalf of themselves and the student(s).

All instructors are required to be fully vaccinated.

Face masks are optional for students and instructors.

Hand sanitizer/washing must be used before entering the classroom.

Activity spaces are set up so instructors and students can maintain adequate distance, when possible.

COVID REFUND POLICY

Creative Enrichment, LLC. has adjusted its cancellation and refund policies in response to the uncertainty that the pandemic has caused. In the event that Creative Enrichment, LLC needs to cancel a program for reasons related to the COVID pandemic, such orders from the Governor or public health agencies and officials, or a Creative Enrichment decision, a pro-rated refund, less a $20 administrative fee, will be granted to all registered students of that program.

If Creative Enrichment, LLC cancels a program after it has begun, or requires a student to leave class for COVID related issues (for example, a positive COVID test, multiple COVID symptoms, quarantine due to close exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID or has multiple COVID symptoms), a pro-rated refund will be granted, less a $20 administrative fee.

Families who need to cancel their child’s enrollment due to COVID health-related reasons should reach out to Creative Enrichment, LLC. directly to discuss terms of cancellation, credits, and refunds.

No refunds will be granted due illnesses (non-COVID related), or any other issues.

We will continue to monitor developments related to the spread of coronavirus. Building a safe

environment for our community is our highest priority.

Creative Enrichment, LLC may revise or update this Policy from time to time, as necessary or appropriate, or as public health guidance evolves.
