Mudskippers Pottery is a family-run professional ceramics studio that specializes in after-school education. At Mudskippers Pottery, we are passionate about teaching affordable ceramics and art education.

Our faculty is comprised of artists and parents, which creates a unique staff that truly understands the needs of teaching art to children. We take great pride in our carefully curated art history lessons that accompany each project. Our art history lessons ensure that your students are learning new things each class.


Fall 2026 Autumn Pottery Adventure

Get ready for a cozy, creative autumn adventure! In this fun hands-on pottery class, kids will learn basic clay skills like coiling, pinching, and shaping while making Fall-themed projects such as self-portrait gingerbread ornaments, Halloween monster pots and more! Students will hand-paint each of their pieces and we’ll fire them in our professional kiln. We’ll learn some art history along the way and finish each session with an art show!


Coming this Winter! 

Winter 2027 Winter Clay Wonderland

Bundle up for a magical winter clay adventure! In this fun hands-on pottery class, kids will learn basic clay skills like coiling, pinching, and shaping while making Winter-themed projects such as heart coil slabs, winter animal pinch pot rattles, and more! Students will hand-paint each of their pieces, and we’ll fire them in our professional kiln. We’ll learn some art history along the way and finish each session with an art show!


Coming this Spring!

Spring 2027 Little Modernists Pottery Class

In this exciting kids pottery class, young artists will explore the colorful world of modern art inspired by Paul Klee and Georgia O'Keeffe. We’ll look at Klee’s playful shapes and bright colors to create fun geometric fish slabs. Then we’ll explore O’Keeffe’s bold flowers and natural forms to make beautiful flower pots. Students will hand-paint each of their pieces, and we’ll fire them in our professional kiln. We’ll learn some art history along the way and finish each session with an art show!
