SAFETY EDUCATION FOR ALL AGES

 Mindful Beginnings brings expert-led safety and caregiving education directly to your group, fully tailored to your schedule. We provide comprehensive, age-appropriate training for every stage of life, including Safe Sitter® babysitting certification, Safe@Home for independent kids, Campus Ready™ lifesaving skills for college students, and specialized courses for grandparents and adult caregivers. Whether you are organizing a session for a community group, school, or private gathering, our instructors bring all necessary materials straight to your location for a convenient, hands-on learning experience. 

My First Babysitter's Club™ | Grades 4-5

A fun, hands-on introduction to child care for students in grades 4 and 5 who want to become Mothers' Helpers: young helpers who care for children while a parent is home nearby. Club members learn beginner babysitting skills, home safety habits, and the basics of running their very own helper business. Each week blends short lessons with games, doll practice, and lots of role play, so students build real confidence in a playful club atmosphere.

Safe Sitter® Babysitting Course | Grades 6-8

This gives participants in grades 6 through 8 the skills and confidence needed to begin their babysitting careers. Students learn CPR, choking rescue, first aid, emergency preparedness, infant care, diapering, and the key ages and stages of child development.  After successful completion of the course, they will earn their official babysitting certification from Safe Sitter®, a nationally recognized organization.

Safe@Home | Grades 3-5

Designed for students in grades 3-5 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and respond to emergencies. Students also learn how to use a first aid chart to systematically assess and treat basic injuries. The course prepares students for their initial steps toward independence.
